In and Around - the nursery
One in the meadow, two in the garden, three...
Last summer we found one fawn bedded down in our field. This summer, while out mowing the field with our big field mower, two fawns scampered out and away to safety. Earlier in the day a young buck, I am guessing two years old, was brazenly feeling his deer-teen oats and chomping on the greenery of our yard. No more lilacs. Beware star gazer lilies.
Now you know the mystery of Thursday's post. The deer collected in the back right of the field, under the rainbow, were gathered in the deer nursery.
